Capturing Conservation Bootcamp

In December 2023, we collaborated with the Tony Wild Foundation to organize a three-day expedition, aimed at immersing Maasai boys from Lemong’o village and Namelock into the art of conservation photography, videography, and storytelling.

The excitement of Day One set the stage as the boys met their mentors, including Anthony Ochieng, the visionary founder of the Tony Wild Foundation and recipient of the 2021 Jackson Wild Grand Prismatic Award, igniting anticipation for the journey ahead.

Day Two delved into the intricacies of photography, exploring its art and ethics under the expert guidance of representatives from the Tony Wild Foundation.

The climax of our expedition unfolded on Day Three, as the young photographers unleashed their newfound skills amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Amboseli National Park. Through their lenses, they captured the essence of conservation, immortalizing moments as timeless snapshots of environmental advocacy and natural beauty.
